Webmasters are familiar with pagerank, its some sort of values in numeric which rank web page and being rank by Google. Despite there are other web page rank such as Mozrank, etc., and other parameters such as alexa with its traffic, but pagerank are dominating the web parameters.

PageRank itself have been patent by Stanford University, but being used exclusively by Google, which we all known. The pagerank itself helping google indexing all active website and the values or importance of the web pages.

Another tools that are needed by web masters. Every web masters usually have competitors, in order to check other domain that are widely spread on the internet, there is tools that they could rely on which is “whois” tools.

In the internet, “whois” tools are provided by many sites. A bit about history, “Whois” was recognized at the early 1980′s, the purpose is for searching domains, and other information related to domain registrations. Back at that time, the registration was under DARPA servers.

This type of search engine combine results from other search engine. Mainly, dogpile combine the results from Google, Yahoo, MSN (Bing), Ask , About, and more.
